Dog Sitz Dog Blankets Dog Sitz are made with an acrylic faux fur. A bit tougher than our Pet Sitz, Dog Sitz will handle more frequent washings as the larger dogs are expected to be outdoors more and will track in more dirt. We use fleece for our Dog Sitz linings because most large dogs are on the floor and fleece adds an element of softness. The fleece should be down and the dog should lay on the fur so that the animals shedding fur can easily be removed..

Care instructions: Wash on the gentle cycle (cold or warm water). Line dry (over the bathtub, towel rack, or shower curtain works well). Fluff once a week to remove hair/fur (no heat)

Uses: Because the Dog Sitz are soft, your pet will use the item. They will develop their own “personal” space. Some of the many uses are listed below:

Sprinkle with Flea Powder during “flea time”

Note: To get your pet to use the Pet Sits, sit on the pet sitz for a couple of hours for it to absorb your scent. Your pet will use Pet Sits because it will be a part of you. Also, for cats, sprinkle with catnip for an added incentive.
